The body of shared work that makes up DriveTheAmericas -- wiki pages, comments, forums, trip profiles, user profiles -- is free for anyone to use, as long as they comply with the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License.

The body of non-shared work that makes up DriveTheAmericas -- pages and articles authored by a sole person, blocks, and panels -- is free for anyone to use as well, as long as they comply with the Creative Commons Attribution-Non-commercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License

Images used on this site are the property of the photographer and cannot be used or duplicated without the photographer's express permission.  

This website is made freely available to the entire community of DriveTheAmericas contributors, namely:

  • People who support our goals of creating a free, complete, up-to-date and reliable travel guide.
  • People who acknowledge that collaboration with other roadtrippers is necessary to achieve this goal.

If you're not interested in our goals, or if you agree with our goals but refuse to collaborate, compromise, reach consensus or make concessions with other DriveTheAmericas contributors, we ask that you not use this Web service. If you continue to use the service against our wishes, we reserve the right to use whatever means available -- technical or legal -- to prevent you from disrupting our work together.

We reserve the right at any time, at our sole discretion, to change or otherwise modify the User Agreement without prior notice.
