Dharma and Dave's Panamerican Adventure

Dave got out of the navy in August 2010, found Dharma on eBay and started driving south from Tucson, Arizona in February 2011 towards who knows where?!

Meet Dharma, a 1972 VW Type II van/bus/microbus/kombi/combi/camper/casa movil/casa rodante! I met her in an online search at eBay.com in November 2010 after losing a sailboat, my home after 11 years in the navy, to some rocks in Mexico. You might say that Dharma caught me on the rebound. I prefer to think that she has impeccable timing!
I'm Dave. I like getting lost and I choose not to work the 9-5 for the foreseeable future.

The most common question I am asked is: "Andas solo?" "Are you traveling alone?"
