How ownership transfer of a foriegn car done in S. America?

hello,

we are looking into selling our car in South America that we bought in panama with panamanian plates.

we need to know how the ownership transfer can be done? any information is welcomed

To the best of my knowledge,

To the best of my knowledge, the transaction needs to take place in Panama.  Another option might be to 'doctor' the paperwork...

You could do a Power of

You could do a Power of attorney indicating each country to be visited by the new owner. You must close the TPIV first at a local Customs office wherever you are or at the border. Then the new driver takes the car with the POA.

The legal selling transfer must be executed in Panama.
