FOR SALE: 4WD Mitsubishi Truck-Camper in North America

The time has come for us, too, to sell our beloved rolling house.
The truck-camper is a very good option to travel, as you can stand inside, cook inside, and the bed doesn’t take so much place, and you have toilets and a shower! There’s a loooot of storage room, so you can take everything you want on your trip. So it’s very comfortable, but much more convenient than a big rig, being 4x4, small enough, and goddamn powerful!

The truck is a 4WD Mitsubishi L200, with only 98’000km (61'000 miles) at the present time.
First matriculation in 2001, French-plated with French Clemenson Explo-44 camper, we drove easily on Chimborazo Volcano up to 4800m (Ecuador) and on the worst road ever in Parque National Los Nevados (Colombia). It’s been super reliable in every situation! It has a few scratches, but nothing important.

2.5 turbo diesel engine
5 speed manual transmission, Selective 2WD, 4WD high, and 4WD Low
Average diesel consumption of 10 l./100 km - 80 liters tank
One spare wheel

Last important repairs at Mitsubishi office, with original parts:
March 2016 : New clutch kit
Mid April 2016: new serpentine belt kit, new oil, diesel and air filters, full check-up

The camper itself is very comfortable for 2 people, and spending one month between 3 people was no problem at all. We paint and decorated it recently, to make it a cozy place to live in.

Inside
- Bed 140 x 190 cm
- Table and 2 large seats (for 4 people), convertible into one extra bed 100 x 180 cm
- Kitchen with: 2 gas stoves + gas oven, sink, electric fridge (80 liters) + freezer
- Water heater
- Heater, small ventilator
- 2 batteries
- 300 watts convertor : 12v to 220
- 2 x 12v USB plugs + 2 x 12v cigar plugs
- 4 x 220v receptacles (only when plug in to mains power supply)

Bathroom with:
- Chemical toilets (17 liters)
- Shower with hot water
- Sink

From the outside:
- 100 liters water tank (for showers and taps)
- 10 kg propane tank (for heater, hot water, stoves and oven)
- 2 electric panels (for the fridge, power convertor, lights, 12v plugs)
- Outside shower
- 2 lateral storages (electric cables, transformer 110 => 220v, home-made sunblind, and plenty of space)

Extra useful stuff:
- Brand new Garmin GPS (2589LMT) with any map you need
- Travel guides from USA West Coast to Ecuador (English or French)
- Paper maps from USA West Coast to Ecuador
- Camping table + 4 chairs
- Small inflatable swimming pool + pump
- 2 snorkels and masks
- Lots of tools, a few spare parts, and material, hoses and plugs
- Cushions, sheets, blanket
- Everything you need to cook, eat and drink

We’d like to sell this complete rolling house for 16’000 US$, bargainable, from now on to July 2016. We’re now in Mexico, and could sell it in the US or even maybe Canada. The plans are not clear yet, and it also depends on you, so don’t hesitate to contact us!
The truck is registered in France, so you won’t be able to have the vehicle registration certificate, but a vehicle identification card, doable in a French prefecture (even if you’re not French, as we are). We will obviously also do a ‘poder’, or ‘power of attorney’, which is sufficient by itself. We’ve been traveling all the time from Peru with these exact same documents with no problem to cross the borders or have insurance.
We’ll manage the paperwork, don’t worry ;-)

The truck-camper has a valid visa for Mexico for 10 more years, and a good and complete insurance for 6 more months (transferable to your name).
