For Sale The Car, The Legend, 'Falcor' 2001 Toyota 4 Runner

******We are currently in Peru. We are looking to sell him asap.

With sadness and heavy hearts the time has come to list for sale our beloved home of the last 7 months. He has taken us from the Colombia, Ecuador and Peru and we have travelled an amazing 11,500 miles without problems. He is a USA registered year 2000, 3.4L V6, Automatic transmission, 2WD Toyota 4Runner. We’ve achieved an average of 22mpg on the whole trip, with a best of 26mpg on the straight and flat roads! The previous owner had him for 14 years and took excellent care of him, as have we during our ownership. He has 228032 miles currently, expect another 1000 miles by the time we sell, he has full service history and will be freshly serviced before selling. Everything works exactly as it should. there are no mechanical or electrical faults to report. He is in fantastic condition, only having a small dent on one back corner of the car and bumper, and the front seats are worn, hence the seat covers. He is a real pleasure to drive, both on and off the asphalt roads, and with the high clearance and good off road tyres we have got to places we never thought possible in a 2WD car, he has amazed us. Obviously being registered in the USA makes easy work of the sale/transfer and is the best option for border crossings and selling on to the next owner. Also being a Toyota he is super reliable and abundant in South America to get parts or repairs if needed. To us getting a USA plated Toyota was a no-brainer!
He is fully kitted out for over landing with the following additions:
• 3-man roof tent, only one year old. This is the same supplier that supplies ‘Kings’ tents so it’s great quality. We have added an extra foam mattress to the original too, so it’s very comfortable. It also includes a large fitted annexe which is great on those rainy or cold evenings.
PLEASE NOTE The car is only a 2 seater now not 3 seater we made it all one level so u have more room for backpack storage and food.
• 190W Solar Panel 3 solar panels (2 fitted to the car and the other u can move around up to 5 meters away from car) and controller, rigged to 2 separate deep cycle large marine batteries and a 2500W 12v-110v inverter, plus a 220v-110v inverter for plugging in at campsites/hostels and an automatic engine battery isolator to preventing it from being drained
• 45L 12v and 110v Whynter Fridge with low power consumption mode
• 2 x 65cm external bright and low power LED strip lights keeps you well illuminated outside
• 25L Water tank storage with attached tap/hose and soap dispenser
• 12V external electric shower
• 2 burner gas stove attached to 5kg gas bottle – fill able in South America
• 4 x new roof bars to support the roof tent very well
• 1 x 20L extra fuel cans. Making total fuel capacity of 100L
