For SALE: Toyota 4Runner '95, 4x4 in CENTRAL AMERICA // May
Hi globetrotters!
Are you tired of traveling by bus, depending on unreliable public transport and tourist shuttles and not coming to deserted places you'd like to see?
Here's the solution:
We are selling our loved Toyota 4Runner 4x4 in Central America (best pick-up place Nicaragua or Costa Rica, but other options are possible). We are leaving Central America the end of May. The car is registered in Guatemala.
As far as we know, Guatemala is the only country where you as a foreigner can easily put a car in your name.
We bought the car in Nicaragua and travelled our way up to Guatemala to get the car registered in our name. Easy as that!
We will help you in Nicaragua to get the official papers from a lawyer, who confirms the buying of the car and permits you, as the new owner, to drive the car and cross borders on your way to Guatemala.
In Guatemals (best Antigua) you can put the car in your name in 1,5 days. We will help you with everthing. Quite easy and you don't need to speak good spanish. So no worries ;-)
If you want to import the car into Costa Rica we also know help there!
The van is perfect for roadtrippin and camping.
In price includes is camping equipment (for sleeping in the car): mattress, bed sheets & pillows, kitchen equipment (cutlery, plates etc) cooling box & machete

Papers?
Hi Phil, I was hoping to bend your ear for a moment.
I saw your post for your 4-Runner on DriveTheAmericas and in it you mentioned, official papers in Nicaragua for crossing borders.
I'm currently looking into buying in Nicaragua, and if you had a moment to offer some clarification on that, I would be most grateful.
It was my impression that a notarized Bill of Sale would be enough, but you alert me to the potential of a specific document.
Thanks for your time, and you can be sure I will pay it forward myself!
Regards,
Ryno
sorry, it is sold.
sorry, it is sold.
Just curious about papers
Hey Phil,
Sorry, I wasn't clear. I'm not interested in your vehicle, just your mention of:
Offical papers from a lawyer in Nicaragua.
Do you have the name of these papers, or a description? Thanks!
