FOR SALE: TOYOTA 4RUNNER IN CHILE OR ARGENTINA, DECEMBER 2017

FOR SALE: TOYOTA 4RUNNER IN CHILE OR ARGENTINA, DECEMBER 2017

Hello travellers!

I will arrive in Ushuaia at the begening of December, so my lovely "Bigmobile" will be available for others travellers!
After a 15 months travel from Alaska to Argentina, I will sell my fantastic, robust and extremly reliable car: I had absolutly no problem to drive everywhere. Yes, REALLY EVERYWHERE: from the snows of Alaska to the highest very bad offroads tracks of Peru and Bolivia at more than 5000m high, and also by the sand of the desert of la Guarija in Colombia!

The car will be available in Ushuaia, Argentina by the early begining of December, but any other place in Chile or Argentina should be possible.

Now, let's see the car specifications:

Model: TOYOTA 4RUNNER

Year: 2000

Plates: Canadian plates, BC, Mercosur insurance valid untill March 2018
Mileage: now 270.000 km, about 275.000 expected at Ushuaia, 218.000 km when I bought it in September 2016. If the maintenance is regulary well done, this kind of car can easily reach more than 500.000 km!
Engine: 3.2l, 245HP, automatic gear 4x4, 4X2, 2X2
Gas consomation: average between 11 and 12 l/100Km. From 9 l/100km on US and Argentina highways to more than 13 l/100km in Mexico city horrible traffic jam!!
Equipments: AC, speed control/regulator, 5 electric windows (even rear window, very usefull!), rear and back tainted windows, sunroof, leather seats, 4 very good offroad tyres.

The car is in good general condition: one rust point in the rear bump, and few chimps and little dents, but nothing  important.

Maintenance history:
-Battery changed 221.000 km
-Ignition key cylinder changed 226.000 km
-Oil and filter change 234.000 km
-rear wheel bearing 248.000 km
-front brake disk 248.000 km
-Oil and filter change 248.000 km
-front brake pads 257.000 km
-Oil and filter change 257.000 km
-Timing belt changed 262.000 km in official Toyota dealer

There are minimum electronic parts: it is an advantage for the reliability, and this car can be easily repaired everywhere in Central/south America, even by local mechanicians as Toyota is implanted everywhere and spare parts are not a problem.

I've made some modifications: Added a wood retractable structure when rear seats are folded in order to sleep inside (see pictures joined). I'm 1m87 tall and I've had absolutly no problem to sleep inside,  enough space!

The car is sold with all the followings equipements:

-1 inflatable matress 1m90 x 1m30 x 20cm, with 1 electric pump 12V-220V and 1 manual foot pump
-1 set of linen, 2 basic blankets and 2 hot blankets
-1 foam matress 1m90 x 1m20 x 4cm. Yes, it's thin but helpfull in the tent if you don't want to use the inflatable matress!
-1 VERY GOOD tent "WOODS Cascade 3" for 3 people (perfect for 2 people!), succesfully tested under rain, storm winds and severe cold (-15°C)!
-1 good sleeping bag -5°C / 23°F
-1 solar shower kit (40l)
-1 gas heater with gas cartridges (8 oz standard cartridge, easy to find everywhere)
-1 set of spoons, forks, knives, plates, cups, aluminium pans and 1 frying pan, tupperwares and many other things wich are every necessary to cook!
-3 plastic containers (30 l), very usefull to contain food and all the tools below, perfectly fitted to the wood structure, no loosen volume in the car!
-1 plastic gas tank (20 l)
-1 plastic water tank (15 l)
-1 complete tools box
-Many other little things I forgot......

Now the best interseting part, THE PRICE!!

I want for the car and all this equipment 4.500 US$

You can contact me on my facebook ("bigfoot autour du monde") or on my e-mail: [email protected]

See you, and best of all: have a good trip!!!!

Denis
